The International Puppet Theatre Festival "Kostanay Puppet Life" is held to promote puppetry art, exchange experiences among creative groups, support and develop puppet theatres, and strengthen cultural ties between regions and countries.

The festival brings together professional and amateur puppet theatres to showcase the best performances, host workshops, creative meetings, and interactive programs for both children and adults.

Professional puppet theatre troupes from Kazakhstan and abroad can take part in the festival with performances premiered within the last two to three years.

Each theatre can participate with only one performance.

Accommodation, meals, and local transportation are covered by the organizers.
